Malcolm Airs, OBE.
OAHS Vice-President and former President Malcolm Airs was awarded an OBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours recently for his services to the historic environment, conservation and education. All those who know him or have heard him speak will surely feel it was well deserved.
The OAHS journal Oxoniensia is now available online. All but the most recent five volumes are freely available under a Creative Commons licence; the most recent volumes are available to subscribers.
Walking Tour of Hook Norton with Don Ratcliffe
Although the tour starts at 2.00 pm, you may wish to arrive earlier at the Brewery, Brewery Lane, where an early light lunch can be purchased and, in the Malt House (free entry), explore the Brewery and Village Museum and Archive.
At 2.00 pm, The Hook Norton Local History Group will conduct us around the significant sites and buildings, including the Church, explaining the fascinating history of the village for about 2.5 hours.
The day will conclude with afternoon tea and cakes, included in the entry fee, at The Sun PH in the centre of the village.

Cancellations will be accepted up to the time of the Book by date, and refunds made, subject to a £5.00 administration fee per booking being deducted. No refunds will be made after the Book by date.
